Application for an Internship at Mobility International USA

Mobility International USA (MIUSA) is a US-based nonprofit organization with the mission to empower people with disabilities around the world through international exchange and international development. 

MIUSA offers educational and professional internships throughout the year depending on program needs, and internships typically last 3-6 months. Interns must be able to commit to at least 10 hours per week. People with disabilities and others are encouraged to apply!

APPLICATION

To apply for any MIUSA intern position, please send:

  • A resume
  • A cover letter

Please address the following questions in your cover letter:

  • What is your interest in working with Mobility International USA?
  • What skills and strengths will you bring to the position?
  • What is your experience with disability, international exchange and/or international development?
  • What languages do you speak?
  • What are your short-term and long-term goals?

Please also include which aspects of MIUSA most interest you (National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange, MIUSA International Exchange Programs, International Development and Disability).

Upon receipt, MIUSA may request an interview, writing sample, and/or references.  We accept internship applications throughout the year and invite interns based on program needs.  Please contact the internship coordinator if you have any questions.
