An EducationUSA interactive webchat took place Thursday, November 19th at 10:00 a.m. EST for an EducationUSA Interactive webchat to educate about resources and opportunities for international students with a range of abilities to study at U.S. colleges and universities.

The webchat was moderated by U.S. Department of State’s Special Advisor for International Disability Rights, Judy Heumann, to provide insights into the types of support and programming available to students with disabilities who want to study in the United States. 

Panelists included:

  • Mobility International USA; Monica Malhotra, Project Manager National Clearinghouse on Disabiliy and Exchange
  • George Washington University; Seth Bravin, Associate Director of Technology Access, Disability Support Services
  • International student perspective; Diego Mariscal, American University alumnus and CEO of 2gether-International
