The World Affairs Council of Oregon put on an exciting event for high school adventure seekers in Portland, Oregon to reach students from diverse backgrounds.
The No Boundaries: Travel and Study Abroad Fair featured tips and tools for first-time travelers, low-income families, students with disabilities, and other high school students wanting to learn about the benefits and opportunities for international exchange programs.
The National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange was at the event to share resources and speak about access to exchange programs for students with disbailities.
Alumni and international exchange representatives from the below programs also attended the event:
- National Security Language Initiative for Youth
- Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Abroad
- Youth Ambassadors Program to South America
- Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program
