In addition to the traditional country and field of study search options, award entries are now searchable by categories such as race and ethnicity, gender, and selections for student leaders and athletes, low-income students, students with disabilities and a variety of other designations. The Institute of International Education and EDU developed these new diversity criteria in partnership with the Scholarship Sub-Committee of the NAFSA Committee on Underrepresentation in Education Abroad.
