Alina Ivanova -What her parents thought about her spending a year abroad –Transcript
"My mom first was, um, she, she didn’t believe and then, um, she just was crying and she was afraid of me, how it will be for me to live alone, um, to speak, um, a different language, and sometimes for parents it’s very difficult to live without their children and to let them alone. I told my mom that, um, it will be great, it will be… I’ll have fun, I can… I’ll make new friends, I will meet new people, and it will be really helpful for me and in my future and… after that I shall be a new person, I shall be more independent, I’ll know how to spend money wisely or what to say when I want to make friends."
