Accessible Everything: An accessible & inclusive travel blog for people with disabilities

Craig Grimes is seemingly always on the move. He has taught English as a Second Language in Barcelona, worked with a local disability community in Nicaragua, and traveled extensively through Europe and Latin America.

When Craig traveled independently in Germany for over a month going from town to town by train, he noticed a lack of information for disabled travelers, such as accessibility in museums, hotels and restaurants in Berlin. When he returned to Barcelona, he decided to help people with disabilities that wanted to visit Europe by writing a short access guide called, Accessible Barcelona, which is now available online. In addition, he uses different types of media to convey the accessibility of his travel sites.

Craig is now volunteering with Natural England, the British government’s advisor on the natural environment, and plans to update his blog to include information for people with disabilities about accessible travel to the countryside. Look for his new posts by visiting http://craiggrimes.com/.
