Brittany Murlas, a long-time volunteer for Bay Area Outreach
& Recreation Program (BORP), traveled to Ghana in 2006 on a study
abroad program and ended up getting connected to the Legon Students with
Disabilities Association and their local wheelchair basketball team. In 2009
she again connected with a disability organization, Transitions, in order to
