Mohammed served as a Junior Professional Associate on the World Bank Disability and Development Team and has served as the point person regarding youth with disability issues at the Bank. His responsibilities included mentoring as well as facilitating and evaluating strategies, initiatives and activities to ensure mainstreaming disabled youth in World Bank activities and development operations.

"I have gotten broader understanding about disability issues. This is practically interpreted at the international perspective, especially in dealing with issues related to disability and development. They should be aware and willing to consider different attitudes and cultural perspectives about disability issues and the rights of people with disabilities."
