The Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) is committed to including people with disabilities as exchange program participants and to advancing disability rights in the United States and abroad.

The video highlights important milestones inlcuding MIUSA programs, such as the first disability-related youth exchange program to the U.S. in 1985 and the creation of the National Clearinghouse on Disability & Exchange (NCDE) in 1995.
