MIUSA acknowledges and thanks the many U.S. Senators, both Republican and Democrat, who voted to ratify the CRPD.
MIUSA is greatly disappointed that the U.S. Senate did not ratify this important treaty. We acknowledge the tireless efforts of the disability community and allies for their work and dedication. MIUSA continues to work with the international disability community and allies to implement the CRPD and other policies, to ensure that the rights of people with disabilities are respected and enforced.
