Disability is Diversity: Anticipating and Encouraging Diversity in International Education
This session addresses the needs of incoming international students with disabilities. We’ll address some considerations for creating an advising plan which leads to a positive student experience. Attendees will come away with basic processes and best practices for advising students with disabilities who travel to the U.S. for university study.

Education Abroad and Students with Disabilities: Expanding Access through Collaboration
This session will focus on meeting the needs of students with disabilities who study abroad. This session will demonstrate the benefits of collaborating with the disability support services office when developing and maintaining an effective support structure. Participants will reflect on their own campuses’ practices for supporting students with disabilities and engage in an interactive session that will give them a better understanding of their students and how best to support them.
