The Brilliant & Resilient Photo Exhibit premiered in El Salvador at the Terazza Hotel.
The international traveling exhibit featured portraits and vignettes of 30 women activists with disabilities from around the world. The exhibition was also a space to promote networking and partnerships between women leaders with disabilities and human rights, development, and government agencies. Nearly 100 people attended the event, including 25 women leaders with disabilities from throughout El Salvador.
This Brilliant & Resilient exhibition was sponsored by the Australian Embassy's Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Sendas Foundation, Pedagogica University, and Mobility International USA (MIUSA).
The event was also supported as part of the Women's Institute on Leadership and Disability (WILD) - El Salvador, made possible by the generous support of the American people through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), with technical support provided by the USAID-funded Leadership, Management, and Governance project.
We'd also like to gratefully acknowledge Palo Alto Software for sponsoring the Spanish translation of the exhibit.
