The National Federation of the blind (NFB) is a consumer organization built on the belief that blind people can live the lives they want.
July 5, 2022 - July 10, 2022

It has represented the interests of blind people in the United States since 1940.

The NCDE will participate in the 2022 NFB convention from July 5 through July 10 to educate members about its services and tips for blind people to study or volunteer abroad with organizations like Fulbright, Peace Corps and Rotary. Staff are looking to partner with blind exchange alumni who will also be at the conference, so if you plan to be in New Orleans, get in touch.

International Education Meet up

NCDE staff are partnering with the National Association of blind students to organize a meet up of blind people interested in studying or volunteering abroad. It will be an opportunity to exchange information in an informal supportive space with food and refreshments.
