NCDE Announces the 2023 Access to Exchange Summit

Date:

The National Clearing House on Disability and Exchange (NCDE) announces the 2023 Access to Exchange Summit (AES), a course designed to teach people with disabilities with limited to no international experience how to study or volunteer abroad. The AES is a virtual workshop that will take place on Zoom from 10 AM to 4 PM Pacific Time (Los Angeles) on Saturday, June 24th, 2023.

We will talk about selecting a program, negotiating reasonable accommodations, medications, adaptive equipment, and more. There is no fee to participate. Speakers will receive an honorarium for their services. Interested?

Participants are individuals with disabilities with limited to no international experience who are interested in learning more about how to study or volunteer abroad with a disability.

Apply to be a participant by June 16.

Speakers are alumni with disabilities of international exchange programs, including volunteer and study, who want to share their insights and experiences with others.

Apply to be a speaker by June 5.

“I am thrilled to share that I was offered the Watson fellowship this week!
I am so grateful for your immense support and wisdom throughout this entire process. Attending the Access to Exchange Summit this past summer and all your help sharing connections made a world of difference. Thank you so much for helping me access such a transformative opportunity.” AES Participant 2022
