International USA (MIUSA) has collaborated with partners in the Kingdom
of Bahrain for a series of innovative reciprocal exchange programs
between Eugene, Oregon, USA and Manama, Bahrain. These programs bring
together professionals, recreation specialists, and young leaders with
and without disabilities from Bahrain and the United States to foster
mutual understanding and respect, exchange information and expertise,
build leadership skills, and develop strategies for increasing citizen
participation and the inclusion of people with disabilities in all
aspects of society in the U.S. and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
